In Honor of Michael Turner by joephotoshop In Honor of Michael Turner by joephotoshop
I cannot express the lost I feel, one of my mentors has died. Although we only corresponded by email, he always had time to review my art and give me help. I will miss him so ... :(
Of course this work belongs to Michael Turner so no commercial use.

This piece is amazing and really brings out the true nature of each member of the Trinity. Their eyes look right into your soul, reflecting human wants and desires and most of all the indomitable human spirit. Truly, this is a work of art that shows the depth of your mentor's understanding of both illustration and its ability to act as a reflection of human nature. Thank you for sharing his work with us.

I feel the same way...after he died I couldn't bring myself to ink for a couple of months, i realize that was a terrible reaction, but it felt wrong. It's really funny if you check my gallery, I put up my tribute piece the next day (which was old) and then there is a HUGE gap in my work, oh well, back on the horse.

I'm extremely sorry to hear that...it's always hard losing someone we look up to and learn so much from. My thoughts and prayers are with you and his family.

That piece is amazing - absolutely breathtaking!

His skills were incredible. He was a master artist, I only hope to continue to improve as he did.
